1. Information we collect

This calculator requires no account and collects no personal information. The values you enter — the widths, heights and ratios you type into the tool — are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are not transmitted to us, not stored on a server, and never received by us in any form. There is no backend: the site is a set of static files plus JavaScript that runs on your device, so there is nowhere for your numbers to be sent even in principle.

2. Cookies and third-party advertising

This site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Users in the EEA and UK may also be shown a consent prompt where required by law. Advertising is served alongside the page and never has access to the dimensions you enter into the calculator.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and see which pages are useful. No personally identifying information is collected, and the values you type into the calculator are never included in analytics data.

4. Local storage and cookies we set

The tool itself sets no cookies and requires none to function. Preset ratios and starting dimensions come from the page you are on — for example the 9:16 page opens the calculator preset to 9:16 — and are part of the page itself rather than anything stored about you.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you sign up for or purchase a product through them. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence the formulas, figures or recommendations on this site. Where a page contains affiliate links we aim to make that clear on the page itself.

6. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the calculator will keep working, since it does not depend on them. You can also use the site with an ad blocker. This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Accuracy of results

Results are arithmetic, and the formulas are stated on the about page so you can verify any of them. Where a value is rounded, the tool shows the exact figure alongside it. Platform export sizes described on this site are the sizes those platforms commonly recommend and can change without notice — check the platform's own current guidance before a deadline depends on it.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than announced separately.
